We couldn’t be prouder of their dedication, sportsmanship, and personal growth this season. I look forward to seeing these young athletes continue their journey in martial arts.”
The All-Star Karate League National (ASKL) was established in 1989 by Tony Young to bring together top karate practitioners from across the U.S. The ASKL features intense competition in kata (forms), kumite (sparring), and weapons divisions, awarding points for first through fourth place at each ASKL-rated tournament. End-of-year awards are given to the top five competitors in each division who have accumulated the most points throughout the year.
The success of Patriot Karate at this year’s ASKL highlights the strength of the school’s training program and the commitment of both students and instructors. Many of these young champions are now setting their sights on future competitions, hoping to defend their titles and continue their martial arts journey.
