Looking for a safe, fun environment for your kindergartener or first grader after school lets out? Little Eagles at Patriot Karate is the perfect place for them to land! Designed just for our youngest students, this afterschool program is packed with movement, fun, and just the right amount of structure.
So… what does a day as a Little Eagle look like?
Every weekday, your Little Eagle will be picked up from school by one of our certified team members and brought to Patriot Karate. Don’t worry, we have car seats – their safety is our top priority. Once they arrive at the studio, children are walked back to their classroom, where they can place their backpacks, lunchboxes, and coats into their cubbies.
We kick things off with a high-energy game led by one of our black belt instructors. It’s the perfect way to shake off those afterschool wiggles (because sitting all day is hard work!). Expect lots of laughs, smiles, and movement.
After all that fun, it’s time to refuel with a snack before heading back out for the highlight of the day—karate class!
This isn’t just any class. It’s designed specifically for Little Eagles, so they can build confidence, learn new skills, and feel successful. Each day is a little different, but all classes are based on our American Karate curriculum. This mat time is just for them—no big kids allowed!
Once class wraps up, it’s time to head back to their dedicated classroom for structured fun. Each month, the Little Eagles teacher, Ms. A creates a theme along with activities for the children. This includes engaging crafts, classroom games, and team-building challenges.
Worried about homework?
No need! If your child has assignments to complete, they can head to our dedicated homework room where a team member is there to help them stay on track.
